Located just 16 miles north of Virginia’s capital city of Richmond, Ashland is a charming small town where the community is breathing new life and quirky character into every block.

Restaurants and coffee houses, a craft brewery and specialty grocer, unique shops and boutique lodging line the railroad tracks that run the length of our main street. Home to Randolph-Macon College and the historic Ashland Theatre, Ashland also plays host to a variety of exciting events and festivals throughout the year.

Ashland is the perfect destination for train watching and history tours, cycling and recreation, date nights and family fun. Whether you arrive by car, train, or bike, there’s so much to explore.
