Witness how people in Colonial America extracted, preserved and blended botanicals for cosmetic purposes. All attendees will gain an appreciation of the art and science of perfume making; learn why this was done for culinary, medicinal and cosmetic uses; experience a forgotten trade that was done in early Virginia; and enjoy a scent sampling of popular botanicals and blends that have endured the test of time.
