ASHLAND THEATRE TO HOST FIRST-EVER HAUNTED HOUSE EXPERIENCE
An Unforgettable Night of Horror, Hollywood Classics, and Ghostly Surprises
This October, the Ashland Theatre is transforming into a haunted haven of thrills and chills with its first-ever Haunted House event on Thursday, October 9, 2025. A spine-tingling journey through one of the town’s most iconic landmarks, this evening will feature live scares, classic horror movie references, and a special screening of the iconic Halloween (1978) to top off the night.
The Ashland Theatre Haunted House will offer guests a guided tour through the historic theatre, which will be filled with hauntingly unforgettable experiences and characters inspired by some of Hollywood's most memorable horror films. Attendees will encounter terrifying figures such as The Ghost with the Most, the mysterious Melanie Daniels, and a trio of lost filmmakers – Heather, Josh, and Mike – who seem to have wandered into the wrong part of town.
The eerie excitement doesn’t end after the tour! Guests will be able to mingle in the theatre's lobby where they can enjoy delicious food, craft cocktails, and interact with a peculiar bartender named Lloyd, last seen haunting the halls of the Overlook Hotel. Throughout the evening, there will also be chances to win door prizes and raffle items with a chance to take home spooky memorabilia.
At 8:10 PM, the night will culminate in a special screening of John Carpenter’s Halloween, a timeless classic that forever changed the horror genre.
This event is appropriate for all ages, offering both thrills and chills without being too terrifying for younger audiences. However, with limited timed-entry tickets available, guests are encouraged to reserve their spots early.
