We welcome non-profit, business, and arts and crafts vendors!
Non-Profit Organization - 501c3 organization offering information OR selling merchandise, services and/or non-concession type food (i.e., jellies, honey).
Business Vendor - Business offering information and/or selling services or items.
Arts & Crafts Vendor - Vendor selling handcrafted items made by them (not a third party).
All food vendor spots are full for 2019. We are not accepting new applications at this time.
Public event hours are 10:00 am – 5:00pm.
Railroad Avenue and Hanover Avenue will be closed to through traffic at 7:00 am.
Route 54 will be closed to through traffic at 9:00 am.
During Ashland Train Day, vehicles are not allowed in the Library or Town Hall municipal parking lots, on Railroad Avenue between Henry Clay and Stebbins Streets, or on Hanover Avenue between Thompson and Duncan Streets.
There are no guarantees of vendor placement and no guarantee that you will be a one-of-a kind vendor.
Electricity will not be provided.
The Ashland Train Day Committee reserves the right to deny any application.
Refunds will not be issued after October All refunds are subject to a $25 administrative fee.
Booth fees will increase by $25 on October 1.
Vendor booths must be set up by 9:00 am.
Provide display set-up, tables, chairs, tent and supplies. Booth spaces are 10’x10. All of your operation must remain within the space boundaries including tent, tent poles, ropes, product storage, etc.
Generators must be quiet. If your generator is deemed too loud, you will be asked to muffle the noise, replace it with a quieter generator, shut it down or relocate if another space is available.
Proof of Insurance will be required for vendors who provide activities that are deemed by us to be of risk to participants.
Vendors selling taxable product, such as food, clothing, and arts & crafts must collect and pay sales tax.
2019 spots are full. We are not accepting Food Vendor applications at this time.
Virginia Health Department’s rules and regulations are enforced as applicable. A Health Department Permit is required for the sale of food. Please visit the Health Department and/or call 804-365-4343 for a temporary permit application. All applications must be submitted to the Health Department at least 10 WORKING DAYS prior to Ashland Train Day.
Vendors are accepted on a first come, first served basis. Deadline to sign up is October 25, 2019.
Application fees will increase by $25 on October 1, 2019.
